Planning Your Disneyland Trip

Hello Darlings!

Are you heading to Disneyland? I was actually on my way there when I wrote this! I wanted to share a few of my Disneyland planning tips with you to make your next Disney trip even more magical.

  1. The best days to go in my opinion are Tuesday through Thursday. The parks are normally a lot less crowded during this time especially during off season. Try to see if schools are in session and if they are, the park population will drop drastically.
  2. If you want to go to an empty park, it is best to avoid holiday season. It makes great pictures and is a lot of fun but everyone is there so you probably would not get to do all the experiences and rides you want on those days.
  3. Plan your fastpasses wisely. Pick your ride that you absolutely have to go on and get a fast pass for it first thing in the morning. Then wait in line for another ride that you really want to go on. Like today, I am going to get a fastpass for the Incredicoaster and then wait in line for Guardians of the Galaxy in California Adventure. If you want to start over on the Disneyland side, I suggest getting a fastpass for either Indiana Jones or Space Mountain.
  4. Make a game plan the days before. Use the Disney app to see how the ride times are and pick where you need to go at what time of the day.
  5. Try to eliminate the amount of walking time you have by finishing one section of the park at a time. (this does not include making it to your fastpass)
  6. Best times to go on busy rides are during parades or shows because a large amount of people are watching and not in line.
  7. Make reservations in advance. If you want to have a sit-down dinner, it is best to make a reservation at least a week in advance but it could still be booked at that time during busy seasons.
I hope these tips will help your next trip go smoothly and be completely magical.
