Hello Darlings!
I gotta admit Halloween is fun especially at the parks with the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party but Christmas holds a special place in my heart for so many reasons. And one great thing about Disney is that once Halloween is over, Festival of Holidays is right around the season.
Last year, I was able to spend Christmas with our favorite mouse and the gang in Paris! Yup that means I was at Paris Disney. Let me tell you all how amazing that park is! I about cried in the Ratatouille section. Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy was unbelievable with it being trackless. It really felt like you were shrunk down to Remy’s size. I unfortunately did not get to eat at the restaurant but I took a peek in and it was incredible!
Another one of my favorite things about this park was their Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. The outside was so interesting because it was not what the ride was originally. It was originally called De la Terra à la Luna, based on the Jules Verne novel “From the Earth to the Moon”. You could see this from the waiting area and the launch pad. Guys, I was freaking out on this ride because I have an obsession with steampunk. I wish I could go back in time and ride the original ride but this was definitely my favorite Space Mountain yet! I have been on both versions in the states and the thrill does not compare to the ride in Paris. If you are a thrill seeker, I highly suggest making the trip. Plus right after you get off the ride, you can go explore Captain Nemo’s Nautilus! I was nerding out big time!!
The last attraction I will rant about is Alice’s Curious Labyrinth. I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan! My etsy shop is called Off With Her Ears. This Labyrinth was unlike anything I have seen at the parks. There were so many super cute photo spots all throughout the maze. The main attraction being the Queen of Heart’s castle in the middle but be careful not to be caught painting the roses red because she will be very angry!
Not only was the park decorated for Christmas but they were also celebrating their 25th anniversary so it was extra magical. My sister and I would open the park and enjoy all the festivities.
Fun Fact: When we got there for opening, the park would still be pitch black because the sun would not rise until late morning.
This park will put you in the Holiday spirit for sure. You can take pictures with Santa and listen to the wonderful performers caroling throughout the park. Last year there was an incredible female trio singing swing versions of everyone’s favorite holiday songs. I couldn’t think of a better place, than home of course, to spend Christmas.
This was one of the most magical Disney trips I have ever taken. I’ll put some pictures on here to show you how completely wonderful it was. OH and I got to see Marie!!!!!! EEEEEKKKKKKK!! If you didn’t see my post about why Marie is my spirit animal, you should really check it out.
So if any of you are thinking about going to Disneyland Paris, you should definitely go through with it. Also the park was practically empty on both Christmas Eve and Christmas so it could be a great time to take a family adventure.
